We didn’t set out to build a hospitality brand.
We set out to create a place we’d actually want to stay. A cottage that doesn’t
feel like a rental. A lake weekend that doesn’t require managing expectations.
After years of renting properties that missed the mark — the checklist amenities,
the generic decor, the unresponsive hosts — we decided to build the thing
we kept looking for.
At Sylvan is the result. Four properties on Oneida Lake, designed from scratch
with the guest experience as the only brief. Every detail reflects a decision.
