We use the information we collect to process reservations, communicate with you about your stay, send occasional updates about At Sylvan (if you’ve opted in), improve our website and guest experience, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Reservations are processed through Hostaway, our property management platform. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Please review Hostaway’s privacy policy and Stripe’s privacy policy for details on how those platforms handle your data.
Our website uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. This data is aggregated and anonymous. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
If you subscribe to the Sylvan Letter, we’ll send you occasional updates about the property, the lake, and the area. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. We use standard email service providers to send these communications.
We retain reservation and guest records as required for accounting and legal purposes, typically for a period of seven years. Email subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
